Rockin Wine Tastings at 2 Long Island CostCo Locations

Costco Rocks Labor Day with Two Long Island Wine Tastings

People of New York-- don't let Hurricane Earl get you down! Come celebrate the last days of summer with wine tastings at two Long Island Costcos this Friday. We will be at both Holbrook & Westbury Locations in Long Island.  Stay safe, avoid the hurricane, listen to music, and drink great wine, all to celebrate the last days of summer.

As you walk through the doors of Holbrook Liquors, you will be blown away by the sheer volume of wine and musical awesomeness that Wines That Rock and Holbrook Liquors have cooked up for your rainy Friday afternoon. Truly, this must be seen to be believed. A WALL of Wines that Rock!

Holbrook CostCo

Costco is ready to get its rock 'n roll on...as in Wines That Rock. We are very excited to announce our first Wine Tasting of Wines That Rock at Costco! Come out and taste these 3, award-winning, critically acclaimed varietals;

- The Rolling Stones Forty Licks Merlot
- Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon
- Woodstock Chardonnay

It's Only Rock 'n Roll like WTR can do it!
While some wine companies pair wine & cheese, Wines That Rock pairs music & wine. But not just any music, not just any wine.

With the music of the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Woodstock echoing through your favorite Costco locations (*loudly), the Wines That Rock team will be on hand to taste through the Wines and meet the good folks of Long Island. It's the Rock ‘n Roll Wine Event & the tastings are FREE.

2 Separate Locations:
But wait-- are you closer to Westbury Liquors? Get your local competition on by visiting our OTHER Wines That Rock tasting at Westbury, which has an equally impressive display of Wines That Rock.

St. Louis, Wine, and a bunch of Animals

If Wines That Rock hears about a party, we're gonna be there. So naturally, Wines That Rock was in the STL yesterday for the Saint Louis Zoo's "Jammin at the Zoo" event.

About 4000 wine and animal lovers prowled the zoo grounds and the WTR wine tasting table was six people deep all night, sampling the award-winning Wines That Rock varietals. Good time was had by all.

Spec's Liquor Houston

Wines That Rock did its first official Tour of Texas May 19th - May 21st, visiting many Spec's stores in the Houston area. We met lots of new friends, snapped lots of photos, and had a great time!

Spec's Pat Kelley Rockin It!

Day 1 started in the Spec's store at 8102 Westheimer where we kicked things off in rock 'n roll style offering customers and staff members awesome tattoo's by the talented Kristi. We poured non-stop from 3 to 7 PM, introducing the Wines That Rock varietals to many savvy wine lovers. The Spec's team really helped and made the event fly by.

Day 2 got going with multiple trips to Spec's store throughout the region and ending with our tasting at the 3902 Bissonet location. The atmosphere was high energy, the video monitors and sound system kept the store rocking and the wine bottles were flying out of the cases.

Day 3 kicked into high gear with a tour of the northern most Houston Spec's stores with our tour guides Pat "I saw ELO in the 70's" Kelley and Ben "The Jet" Besio from Republic. We traveled the Houston highways meeting many Spec's wine consultants, all of who were very excited about working with Wines That Rock. Our Tour of Texas concluded with our last wine tasting at the Smith Street store...again the wine was flowing, tattoo's were inking and customers were rockin'!

Thank you Spec's for showing us that famous Texas hospitality...we can't wait to get to Austin!
